I've looked at your other posts on action as a minor (and their very inspiring and Im planning on doing some!) but do you have any advice for someone who lives in a very conservative small town without a very solid friend group?

I got Autism Speaks (anti-autistic hate group which promotes eugenics and the torture of disabled children through methods invented by the guy who created homophobic conversion therapy, but they have a really effective PR team so people think they’re a legitimate charity, in case anyone’s unfamiliar.) and all iconography related to them banned from the pediatrician’s office my family goes to, which had previously partnered with them due to mistakenly thinking they were a charity that helped autistic people.

Hi! If you’re an artist / designer who wants to donate your services, how do you find antifascist groups in need of donated art / design work? I’d rather do it over the internet than in person, in order to avoid both the pandemic and retaliation from fascists.

Any advice on how to de radicalize loved ones? Some previously left leaning close friends have started heavily engaging with right leaning content like joe rogan & especially jordan peterson. The effect is alarming. Lot of talk on how the worlds problem atm is the left going too far left and going back to identity politics and communist dictatorships. A variety of other shocking opinions on specific matters were expressed as well. They are getting brain rot, I am deeply concerned for them. How can I help them see this shit is fucked up without pushing them further towards it?

De-radicalization anon here! I started by having 'debates' with him, and talking him around in circles until we found an opinion he had that didn't match the far-right brain washing. I kept on that for like 3 years, just trying to get him to recognize the disconnect . Once I thought I had a pretty good foothold, i starting showing him leftist youtubers- starting out with hbomberguy's gaming analysis videos to get him comfortable. I didnt want him to instinctively jerk away and shut down. Then his "flat earth: a measured response" because my fiance wasnt a flat earther and could recognize how wack it was. Then I moved on to the philosophy tube channel, again starting with the more innocuous (stealth) videos. Once he was comfortable with those two channels, we slowly started watching the more overtly leftist videos! And that got him thinking and wanting to do his own research- and voila! Those are the basic steps I took :)

oh man are we sharing stories! back in college when milo came to campus we managed to organize a bloc the day off that radicalized a number of the liberal students who started pushing the police fence when the liberal organizers got bored and gave antifascists their megaphone even better, we booked a “demonic double feature” movie night with a fake satanist group that got us featured on brietbart and banned from hosting events on campus so we reused their free speech arguments against them

Success story time! When I met my now fiance, we were in high school and his parent's house was basically it's own far-right echo chamber. Fox news on the tv 24/7. Planned parenthood conspiracy theories. The whole 9 yards. Being a kid, he didn't know any better, and was pretty much brainwashed by it. I spent 5 years slowly de-radicalizing him, and today he's a full on socialist! Now he helps me do that for other people, and our combined count is up to 6 people (so far) who are now much farther left than we ever thought possible!
